I'm a university student currently living in Buffalo. Although my heart is in NYC, my student loans and work think otherwise. I work and dance with a local irish dance school, teaching lessons and running a myriad of shows throughout the year. Right now I am on hiatus from rehearsal, for a multitude of reasons, pursuing relief from burnout and a few other options before I return in the fall for competition and training. Right now, I'm filling my time with solo practice, running, ballet and projects for a design portfolio. Dancing is far more a love than a steady job, more often than not I can be found, bored out of my mind, behind a desk in a medical office. It has its perks, in the form of free lunch from drug reps and great deal of strange, strange stories of things the doctors find in surgery. I've learned to take lunch happily while listening to the latest gory surgery story. I love animals, except for dogs, sorry. Right now I have a calico kitty named Chip, Salazar (ball python), Fluffy (black kingsnake), and Toby, my old show pony who is currently living out his days in cushy retirement. Being busy, cats are good because she doesn't care, she walks by herself, and snakes are even better on the 'not caring about their owners attention' front. I write a lot, most of it is hidden away and never sees the light of day, but you'll see the occasional short story, fanfic, or college essay I thought was interesting enough to post.
